As a 25+ year classroom teacher and former district-wide Gifted and Talented Specialist, I’ve always taught through nature and hands-on inquiry. Teaming up with Ida Covi from iRewild Institute, we brought to life the iRewild Nature Academy and the enchanting Mimsy & The Pebbles of Time book series, helping 1st–4th graders understand their connection to the Earth through story, play, and real science.

For museums, aquariums, classrooms, and homeschoolers, my North Atlantic Right Whale units blend accurate marine science with kid-sized empathy and stewardship.
