Our Story

Our story started in the classroom—outdoors whenever possible. After 25+ years teaching and designing inquiry-based learning, I saw how quickly students light up when science is wrapped in story, wonder, and real-world stewardship.

In partnership with Ida Covi and the iRewild Institute, I helped bring iRewild Nature Academy to life, along with the Mimsy & The Pebbles of Time series—so young learners can feel their connection to the Earth, not just memorize facts about it.

Today, I create curriculum for classrooms, homeschoolers, museums, and aquariums—blending accurate science, empathy, and hands-on exploration. The goal is simple: help kids fall in love with the natural world, and give them tools to protect it.
